The Knysna branch of Milly Holz Properties is managed by Karel du Toit and Terry Cohen.

Terry is a qualified graphic designer, and spent the major part of her working career as a press photographer for both the Gauteng based Citizen and Beeld newspapers. Photography being one of her major talents, she is able to offer her distinctive style to photographing homes in an imaginative and creative way, emphasizing the unusual and architectural nuances of each home to its fullest potential. With the advent of digital photography, she notes that most agents who can now quickly photograph homes, have little regard for the craft or art of photography, missing the finer points of photographic presentation, an essential element to regard in conveying the visual message so essential in terms of media.

Having been the marketing director for one of Knysna’s oldest companies, namely “Feathers of Knysna”, she is both accomplished in communication skills and presentation of marketing material, taking pride in the conception of marketing strategies, copywriting, and advertising. Terry has lived along the Garden Route for 20 years, and is familiar with all the mainstream areas and suburbs, as well as all the little treasures in out of the way places.

Karel has been resident in Knysna for 14 years. Having lived in various areas of the town, he has had the opportunity of becoming familiar with both town and country dwellings. Ranging between the famous “Heads” of Knysna, and the more rural Rheenendal, Karel is fully in touch with both viable Macadamia nut and citrus growing areas, to stately marble and granite mansions, having a fine appreciation for all the aspects which each lifestyle has to offer.
A well-known and fine bronze sculptor, Karel applies his inner artistic abilities to recognizing homes with infinite potential, be they renovator’s dreams, or classic gems.

With a managerial background, which included exercising negotiation skills, accountancy and a broad knowledge of the law, Karel is an invaluable asset in the world of real estate.
